Duties and Responsibilities
 
1.     Formulate and execute various commodity strategies to optimize overall product cost, especially in the electronics and electric-mechanical categories.  
2.     Collaborates with internal business teams and drives strategic alignment within the company to support long-term corporate sourcing strategies. 
3.     Support company to achieve the revenue and EBIT target. Ensure supply continuity and responsible for supplier chain risk management.   
4.     Manage the overall supplier relationship with all key suppliers. 
5.     Support new product introduction project objectives, including managing BOM cost and meeting product schedules. 
6.     Drive the cost reduction program and meet the cost reduction goals for regular commercialized products. 
7.     In charge of supplier management program including, but not limited to, QBR, contract management, supplier scorecard, price management, capacity management, and spend analysis. 
8.     Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned commodities, global supply market, pricing trend, and other best practices.
9.     Perform other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
 
A.  JOB SPECIFICATIONS
               I.         Educational Background:
 BS degree required and Engineering degree preferred.  
 CPM, CPIM or other professional certification desirable 
 
             II.           Experience:
10-years or more working experience in electronics and electrical component industry is required, especially with manufacturing and supply chain background. 
 
                III.        Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude:
 
1.    Excellent negotiations skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships.
2.       A comprehensive understanding of procurement fundamentals with a minimum of (3) years of experience in sourcing or purchasing, OR a minimum of three (3) years of related experience either in quality, engineering or supply chain. 
3.       Excellent interpersonal skills are required for effective communication and negotiation with sophisticated suppliers in a professional manner.  
4.       Excellent communication skills and ability to work with internal colleagues as well as suppliers at all levels within the organization in order to perform the duties described above.  
5.       Must be PC-literate; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required. 
6.       Fluent English is a must. 
7.       Expect to travel 20-30% of the time, globally.
