Job description:
● Supply Chain Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with corporate goals and objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define supply chain requirements and establish performance metrics.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize inventory levels.
● Corporate Supply Chain Management:
Oversee the production planning and scheduling processes to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing and delivery of products.
Manage inventory levels across multiple corporate locations, optimizing stock levels and minimizing holding costs.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable contracts to meet the needs of the corporate operations.
● Commissary Supply Chain Management:
Coordinate the end-to-end supply chain activities of the commissary, including procurement, production, and distribution.
Optimize inventory management processes to ensure adequate supply levels and minimize waste in the commissary operations.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to maintain quality standards, optimize stock levels, and streamline ordering processes.
Procurement and Vendor Management:
Develop and implement procurement strategies to source materials, components, and services for both corporate and commissary operations.
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
Evaluate and onboard new suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply base.
● Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for both corporate and commissary supply chain operations.
Analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
● People Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to enhance team members' skills and competencies.
Manage staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Foster cross-functional collaboration and promote effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
A master's degree is preferred.
Minimum 5 years experience of Supply Chain Management, with a strong background in both corporate and commissary operations.
Strong people management, analytical, organization & problem-solving skills● Excellent interpersonal & leadership skills with an ability to communicate processes, timelines & schedules clearly● Proven experience in supply chain management, In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.
Excellent understanding of procurement strategies, inventory management, R&D, and logistics operations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
