ADI's legal team is growing in the Philippines! ADI is seeking a talented Commercial Counsel in the Philippines to support the Company's business in negotiating complex commercial agreements with customers, vendors, suppliers, and other partners. These agreements may include joint development agreements, master sales and purchase agreements, master professional services agreements, memorandums of understanding, non-disclosure agreements and software licensing agreements (inbound and outbound). Knowledge of general commercial agreement clauses are essential. Knowledge of commercial disputes, including contractual disputes and cost claims is also beneficial as well as experience with licensing (software, hardware, trademark or patent).
The position will join a dynamite worldwide commercial team of legal professionals. This position will be based in Bonifacio, Philippines and will be part of a local in-house legal team in the Philippines to support ADI's diverse, and growing operation which includes approximately 10,000 local employees in many functions, including manufacturing, support functions (like Payroll, Finance, Internal Audit, Global Trade Compliance, IT, HR), and engineering. This position will involve global support for operations around the world, and occasional international travel may be required.
Law degree and license to practice law from the Philippine Bar Association
7+ years of relevant experience supporting commercial matters, preferably with a combination of law firm and in house practice
Proven track record of identifying problems and implementing business-minded, creative solutions
Excellent communication skills, flexibility, initiative, and ability to independently achieve results
