Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that we hit the company's Collection Efficiency Index goal.
2. Looping in owners with the status of their properties specific to rent collection.
3. Work with the tenant to collect rent owed when it's due. And provide options if need be.
4. Coordinates with another department to ensure rent collection.
5. Prepare Notice for non-rent payment.
6. Prepare endorsement of notice for mailing.
7. Work with the higher management regarding legal matters to ensure we provide the right advice to owners and tenants for any legal concerns.
Qualifications
High-level communication skills:
-Proficient in speaking conversational English (phone).
-Proficient in writing conversational English (text & email).
-Provide clear and legible communication on all platforms.
High-level customer service skills:
-Create and build relationships with owners and tenants.
-Set right expectations to both owners and tenants and provide options if needed to ensure rent collection.
High attention to sensitive details.
-Notice Creation
-Updating trackers
High level of personal organization.
-Must be flexible and adapt to change.
-Our portion of the business is very fast-paced and our supporting processes are forever changing to be more efficient.
Must be a TEAM player.
-This team is very tight-knit and operates based on awesome teamwork.
-Team skills are a must for a high volume of endorsements as it usually takes coordination with other departments to resolve non-rent -payment issues.
-Willingness to accept constructive criticism and help others when needed.
