We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Collection Staff to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing payment collections and ensuring that all real estate transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
 
The Collection Staff will play a key role in ensuring the timely collection of payments from clients and maintaining accurate financial records. The position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to address payment issues and resolve disputes professionally.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and collect payments from property buyers, tenants, and lessees.
Track outstanding balances and follow up with clients regarding overdue payments.
Prepare and send payment reminders, demand letters, and collection notices.
Process payments through various channels (cash, bank transfer, online).
Reconcile payments and update financial records to reflect accurate account status.
Communicate with clients to address payment issues and resolve disputes promptly.
Generate reports on collection status, account aging, and delinquent accounts.
Work with legal teams on payment defaults and delinquent accounts when necessary.
Maintain accurate and organized records of payments, communications, and account status.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.
2-3 years of experience in collections, billing, or accounts receivable (real estate experience is an advantage).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
