Good competency in Engineering code management tools
Identify and resolve Code Management issues in a timely manner
3 years minimum experience with related technologies and methodologies.
Maintain documentation and update as required
Detect and troubleshoot operational and functional issues
Understanding of logic programming and the software build process
Sound knowledge of JCL
Sound knowledge of transmission products
Sound knowledge of a scheduling software package
Demonstrate a high level understanding of Data Center and operations environment
Provide 24 x 7 support for problems and issues related to Code Management or issues related to JCL changes
Good-to-Have
Good communication and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills get along well with others.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Able to multi-task, can manage and prioritize several projects to meet deadlines.
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
Code Management Support
Code, test and implement JCL modifications in support of Data Center Engineering initiatives to the environment or mainframe products.
Interface with vendors as well as other Key Technology Services teams to maintain and support the environment
Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation requires evaluation and judgment
Development and Enforcement standards and guidelines as they relate to JCL coding
