Duties and Responsibilities
The Cobotics Engineer will be supporting the implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies such as Cobotics, and smart work instructions within the manufacturing facilities. Works closely with Operations and Engineering in co-development mode to ensure a seamless transition upon reaching maturity and to address current challenges encountered within the business.
Develops and implements industrial technology projects, advanced production techniques, digital solutions, industry 4.0 projects in line with a global roadmap, interacting with all key stakeholders (Safety, Lean, Quality, Production, Maintenance, Systems, external suppliers, others).
Leads, defines and develops Industry 4.0 activities designed to improve operational performance as a multidisciplinary engineering team member.
Coaches and facilitates teams and individuals to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Designs, analyzes, develops, tests, and integrates control and software systems for cobotics and visual inspection.
Innovates to discover solutions that enhance the relationship between operators and robots.
Actively and passionately participate in hands on manufacturing, robotics, and coding .
Conceptualizes and design innovative solutions to a variety of applications.
Designs of entire machine cells combining, fixturing, automation, visual systems.
Prepares technical documentation, develop specifications, and monitor the progress of projects.
Stays current on any Industry 4.0 technology changes that may affect our activity and advise others of any impact.
Experience in visual inspection and quality.
Familiarity with software such as a LabView/Python or C++ would be big plus.
Qualifications
Graduate of Engineering Course - Preferably Electronics and Communications or Mechatronics.
With at least five years experience in a Manufacturing Technology with specialization on process improvement, testing, inspection, or design.
Preferably knowledgeable in Labview/Python or C++.
Able to communicate effectively with internal customers, leadership, foreign counterparts and other teams.
