Responsible for programming all Engineering Design data and convert to CNC Program.
Conversant in reading and understanding Engineering 3'D Model using 3D software, along with master cam.
Responsible in ensuring that a completed package is supplied to manufacturing Shop floor based on latest approved design.
Work with Continuous Improvement Team to support CI Culture and Lean manufacturing.
Responsible in ensuring that all program files are based on latest revision.
Responsible in inventory, maintenance and improvement of Jigs and Fixtures
Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedure in relation to program generation and shop floor execution.
Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.
Network & Relationships
Internal:
Work with manufacturing Team Leaders on Production priorities.
Work with Logistics Section Buyers concerning material usage, control of consumable materials.
Work with Mechanical Engineering and Maintenance section to ensure CNC machine is well maintained thru TPM.
Work with Process Engineering for continuous improvement in programming and CNC machine optimization.
External
Working with vendors on machine calibration, tooling, software maintenance
QUALIFICATION
Graduate of Engineering/Vocation/Technical Course or Equivalent.
Work experience in programming from an Engineering related manufacturing.
With at least 5years experience on CNC Programming & Machining
Must have sufficient experience and training in machine shop practices.
Expertise in machine programming, set-up, and operation of both manual and CNC equipment
Extensive knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, 2D and 3D models.
Experience as a leader and proven ability to effectively lead individuals and teams.
Expertise and experience running, setting up and programming multiple machine platform types (Horizontal Mills, Vertical Mills, Sub-Spindle Lathes)
Must display and maintain a positive attitude.
Must have a continuous improvement mindset and be able to present and implement positive change
