Job Description
Runs, operates and programs CN/Lathe/Marching Center to a high standard
Experience in using, understanding and interpreting CAD/CAM and SolidWorks software
Reads blueprints and technical specifications to understand the requirements for the metal component to be machined
Prepares and configures machine tools for specific jobs and ensures correct fixtures, settings and tools are applied.
Checks machined and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments
Inspects finished product to ensure it complies with supplied blueprint drawing/CAD models
Program and operate computer numerical control machines to guide machine tools in producing parts.
Ensures accurate time keeping of all jobs.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
Must have high school diploma (4 yrs. not ALS) plus One (1) year vocational or 1 year in college (completed 1st and 2nd semester)
