A Cloud Systems Administrator is responsible for working in a mixed Windows and Unix
software environment in the cloud environment. He will manage the instances of the
cloud infrastructure services and the multiple cloud servers. He will have to develop,
configure, implement and manage the systems that comprise the underlying cloud
platform. He will establish and execute the cloud operations as per the specifications
and parameters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Primary Responsibilities:
 Install and configure the Cloud Management application for the provider (AWS, GCP and Oracle)
 Set properties for Cloud Management
 Run Discovery on the cloud resources
 Obtain templates and approve some templates to be used to create catalog items
 Define catalog items for both VMs and more complex offerings
 Define change control parameters for cloud resources
 Customize the user experience: Provisioning rules and UI policies
• Other responsibilities:
 Install & Troubleshoot
 He/She will install and configure the Windows /UX operating system in cloud IaaS providers. He/She will also the go-to personnel to resolve and provide any assistance about system problems.
 He/She will manage and looks into the configuration and network security of the systems to make sure they are working correctly and they are up-to-date.
 He/She will manage and upgrade operating systems.
 Implement & Integrate
 He/She will monitor and analyze the capabilities and performance of the systems.
 They compare, evaluate, and implement new technologies, and integrate systems into the computing environment.
 He/She will be responsible to document systems infrastructure for the convenience of the users.
 Security & Strategies
 He/She will provide all the necessary assistance to the cloud servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.
 He/She will help to maintain system security strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Qualifications:
 University Graduate on IT or any related sciences
 7-10 years of solid experience in managing and configuring Cloud instances and services
 Knowledge and know how on AWS, GCP and Oracle
 Certification on cloud administration will be a plus
 Well-rounded on IT Change Management, Cloud Security
