We are looking for a Security Engineer to design, implement and maintain our company's security systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the protection and security of confidential data against unauthorized access, fraud, hacking and cyber threats.
Duties and Responsibilities
The main objective for the Cloud Security Architect will be to advise Chief Information Officer in developing cloud risk management strategies and implementation plans aligned with corporate priorities
The architect will be responsible to design and effectively implement security strategies and architectures that will directly impact the direction of our cloud services and IT
They will be accountable for the cloud security architecture and will assist with projects and improvement initiatives of moderate size, complexity, and risk
The cloud security architect will develop actionable security blueprints, principles, models, designs, standards and guidelines to ensure enterprise information technology architecture is consistent, usable, secure and adds value to the business
Design and architecture of new approaches, methods, and techniques for cloud cyber defense and resiliency for information technology and operational technology systems and networks
Lead in authoring security compliance documentation and assist in client-facing questionnaires and presentations
Design and implementation of cloud security strategy, architecture, and platforms, ensuring that the strategic objectives are aligned with organizational business goals
Develop and manage cloud security policies and standards in alignment with industry best practices, state and federal regulations, and emerging security technologies
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including IT teams, vendors, and government agencies, to ensure that security measures are integrated into all cloud technology solutions
Work closely with customer stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, perform security reviews, design top tier security practices, and deliver strategic, innovative cloud-based security offerings
Actively participate in client engagements where you will represent cloud security interests and provide expertise on security-related issues
Evaluates strengths and flaws in security architecture designs including performance, confidentiality, integrity, availability, access, and total cost of ownership
Keep abreast of the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, suggesting solutions to mitigate risks as they arise
Qualifications/ Requirements of the job
BS/BA and 7+ years of relevant work experience -OR-
MS/MA and 5+ years of relevant work experience -OR-
PhD with 3+ year of relevant experience
