Develop and implement tracking programs to monitor progress of departmental goals/projects and provide analysis to direct management and the Executive management team. Implements departmental training programs which include monitoring and validation procedures to measure progress of individual employees. Collaborates with functional group leaders to identify inter project dependencies and resource optimization strategies. Drives projects by identifying the right balance between process & business deliverables. Directly supervises, supports, and coaches all subordinates in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Networking with industry organizations and peers to provide additional Company resources and to stay ahead of changes and trends within industry. To enforce the R & D standards in accuracy, time lines, budgets and quality. Interact with customers in finding resolutions to customer issues. Plays a key role in vendor and solutions sourcing. Participates in formation of Capital Plan and Budget as it pertains to identification and sourcing of replacement and new equipment and technologies. Responsible for the development of and adherence to departmental budget. Responsible for monitoring, reporting and managing a team delivering ITIL based services Responsible for defining operational RACI, defining KPI's, metric, service management tool requirements, process roles and definitions, governance structure and operational instructions for defining the method of work between the team and customer project teams Coordinate and manage the software development process for specific software projects Project planning, scheduling and performance measurement for all software development projects Develop and agree new metrics and management information reports Develop process maps for current state and future state based on proposed process improvements Formulate and agree implementation road map for proposed process improvements Established and vet key vendor relationships; assess emerging technologies; give advice on investments regarding price versus performance. Define/document target architecture; Anticipate infrastructure growth; ensure scalability; stay abreast of industry trends and assess new products; use KPI and effectiveness metrics to improve processes; bridge different areas of the infrastructures. Participate in architectural reviews and/or audits; defines and maintain documentation of infrastructure and technology standards, processes, and policies related to core infrastructure. Define the technical infrastructure; effectively integrate solutions into the existing infrastructure; document current state architecture; help deploy solutions that meet business and technical requirements. Evaluate technology, market trends and industry plus identify prospective impact on business. Participate to develop and manage ongoing enterprise architecture governance structure on basis of business plus IT strategies. Perform as sounding board as well as IT consultant and business leaders to develop IT infrastructure solutions. Promote organization architecture process and results to organization inclusive of business leaders and enterprise's IT. Lead and direct to prepare governing principles to guide decision making pertinent to infrastructure architecture. Develop implementation plan for infrastructure architecture on basis of IT strategies and business requirements. Ensure optimal governance structure and comply with activities related to infrastructure architecture adherence. Enforce infrastructure architecture execution as well as ongoing refinement tasks. Stimulate evaluation plus selection of entire infrastructure architecture standards commensurate with IT's business partners. Consult project teams to fit infrastructure architecture assignments and identify need to modify infrastructure architecture to attain project requirements. Identify need to change technical architecture to incorporate infrastructure needs. Consult with project teams of infrastructure development to fit entire architecture infrastructure. Identify enterprise requirements for structures, resources and cultural modifications required to support infrastructure architecture. Ensure documentation of entire architecture design and evaluation work. Develop and execute communication plus education plan for infrastructure architecture. Champion the importance of innovation and creativity. Participate in developing product strategy and overall product architecture. Rapidly assimilate, comprehend, drive and own core intellectual property REQUIREMENTS Work Experience 10+ years of Technology Development experience with 4-5 years in Software Delivery Management roles. This experience includes familiarity with software product development life cycles. Experience of managing and delivering multiple projects at the same time is an advantage. 5+ years experience in an R&D environment. 5+ years experience in either IT, Telco, Consulting industry. Level of Knowledge Any 4-year course in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Science or equivalent ITIL certificate required; MBA, PMP, or Six Sigma certificate desired Technology Certifications in Cloud, Cybersecurity, or in other domains Competencies Leadership Stakeholder Management & Buy-in Profit & Loss Management Program Management Customer Relationship Management Crisis Management Operational & Process Management Negotiation & Influencing Skills Functional Solution Architecture Technology Architecture Database Design Software Application Design People management skills Facilitation & Training Skills Organization Communication & Presentation Skills Knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project & Agile Project Management, Lean techniques or Six Sigma Make Your Passion Part of Your Profession.
