TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT
Fulltime (Remote)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and administer Linux Servers and Cloud Infrastructure
Implement and maintain DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize system performance
Ensure the security, integrity and hardening of systems and data
Perform and automate regular security scans / penetration testing
Write Bash or Python scripts and IAC templates to automate almost everything
Research new technologies, concepts, and frameworks / libraries
QUALIFICATIONS
A graduate of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related college degree
Must be highly proficient in:
Linux (any of: Amazon Linux, Redhat / CentOS, Ubuntu / Debian)
Bash or Python Scripting
Cloud: AWS, Google, or Azure
Must be proficient in any of:
Ansible, Packer, Puppet, or Salt
Terraform or Cloudformation
Experience with: Apache or NGINX, MySQL or PostgreSQL, Email service (POP3/SMTP)
Bonus if experienced in managing Cpanel / WHM
Understanding of CI/CD
Understanding of Docker
Excellent knowledge of Linux systems and shell commands
Good English communication skills both verbal and written
Must have at least 3 years work experience in a related field
