Cleaning Guest Rooms: Cleaners are responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, which includes making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all surfaces.
Restocking Amenities: They ensure that guest rooms are well-stocked with amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens.
Public Areas: Cleaners clean and maintain the cleanliness of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
Laundry: They handle the collection and distribution of hotel linens and towels, ensuring that clean and fresh items are readily available for guests.
Report Maintenance Issues: They report any maintenance issues or needed repairs to the appropriate department or supervisor to ensure the timely resolution of problems.
Guest Requests: Attend to guest requests for additional amenities or special cleaning needs.
Room Inspections: Conduct routine inspections to ensure that rooms meet the hotel's cleanliness and presentation standards.
Inventory Management: Keep track of supplies and notify the supervisor when reordering is necessary.
Training and Development: Cleaners may receive training on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols.
Emergency Response: In case of emergencies or evacuations, cleaners are responsible for following established protocols and ensuring guest safety.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
Female applicants are preferred for this role.
Required: FIVE-STAR hotel experience in a similar role is a must.
Cleaner Experience: previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role.
Physical Stamina: Housekeeping staff members should be physically fit and able to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
