The Company
The company is market leader in the industrial and mining sector. It is an internationally managed organization that produces and supplies world class copper and precious metal by-products, with state-of-the-art facilities in the Visayas region. To support its dynamic growth, the company is now looking to appoint an experienced Civil Structural Engineer.
The Position
The Civil Structural Engineer will be expected to conduct site audit and provide structural assessment with recommendations for implementation of repair or rehabilitation on existing structures at plant wide area. He/She will ensure high level of safety awareness by following and enforcing all safety procedures and environmental regulation. This includes ensuring all required tools, materials, and equipment are available, properly stored and in good working condition.
The appointed individual will manage the project under Execution phase until Handover. There is a need to collaborate and communicate with Construction Leaders and QC Engineers for any site structural re-assessment during implementation phase. He/She has to make sure that contractors follow the project schedule and monitor costs to be within budget. Lastly, weekly and monthly progress report must be submitted on time.
Project Duration: 12 months
The Person
Interested candidates will offer a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with active membership to the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP). He/She must have at least 3-5 years' extensive experience in Construction Industry for Structural and Reinforced Concrete and ideally have worked on Repair and Rehabilitation Projects. Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations are also essential. The candidate must be analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, efficient in Data Reporting Skills especially from Site Audits and Structural Assessment Reports.
