The opportunity
Project: Structural and Civil Engineering Works on a 450ha, Integrated Mountain Resort project, In Pampanga Philippines. Located between Angeles City and New Clark City Phase 1 works include the Development of an 18 Hole Championship Golf Course, Banyan Tree Main Building and Resort Villas, Club House, and ancillary site wide infrastructure and facilities. Including significant building civil engineering works, roads, drainage, slope retention, retaining structures, piling, bridge works cut and fill site works, and cut and cover tunnel underpasses, and underground services, groundworks, low and medium rise structures inc substructure and superstructure in steel and RC.
Your responsibilities will include:
Establishing and maintaining key relationships with project partners, designers, contractors and other key stakeholders.
Setting up regular and clear lines of communication to address issues that may arise.
Attending regular site progress meetings in updating all issues.
Providing input to the project programme and ensuring contractors meet the requirements of the programme.
Managing and developing the team to ensure staff are supported.
Contributing to the procurement of contractors as part of the project team.
Ensuring the management plan is followed and adhered to.
Ensuring all statutory undertakings are obtained and monitoring implementation.
Taking responsibility for ensuring safe project working practices are adhered to for all site personnel and taking appropriate action where necessary.
Driving and managing the change management process, in a timely and cost-effective fashion.
Preparing a handover schedule and ensuring any outstanding defects are rectified.
Representing the company in a professional manner.
Providing necessary input to the monthly report for issuance to the client demonstrating all key aspects of the project.
