JOB SUMMARY
The CIVIL ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR is responsible for supervising and coordinating construction activities at a construction site and ensuring that construction projects are carried out on time and within budget in a safe and quality oriented manner. In other words, his duty is to oversee and manage a team of civil engineers and other relevant contractors and subcontractors who design and develop construction projects such as airports, bridges, channels, dams, railroads, and highways.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Professional positions must have specialized functions, e.g., analyze, advice, train, etc.,, Supervisory positions must have administrative functions e.g., direct the work, evaluate performance, implement discipline, etc. Managerial positions must have strategic functions, e.g., come up with solutions conceptualize policy and programs, oversee, etc.
Supervise construction project and ensures that all activities are carried out in strict adherence to all regulations.
Monitors ongoing construction projects to make sure that work is properly executed within deadlines by planning and organizing tasks while also coordinating a team of civil engineers and/or contractors.
Provides effective supervision to all ongoing construction activities by being familiar with all areas of the project, such as structural drawings, blueprints, and deadlines.
Ensures that all parties involved in a project execute their various assigned tasks as they are supposed to, and also examine and/or inspect work completed and ongoing works periodically.
Builds and maintains healthy relationships with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors, while also acting as a liaison between groups that are involved in the construction project.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering w/ License
Must have driver's License and w/ own motorcycle
At least 1 yr. experience and above in a similar role
Sound knowledge of engineering. construction and design.
Great Leadership and organizational skills
Must have SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-ibig and Tin#
Can start ASAP
