JOB SUMMARY:
Calculate a budget based on their client's requirements. Prepare detailed estimates to ensure the budget is sufficient for each stage of construction. The main task is to find out what a construction project will cost, including materials, labor, and services.
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
A. TENDERING
1. Attending Pre-bid conferences and gathering of information straight from the client.
2. Conduct site inspection if necessary to ensure the accuracy of quantity surveying.
3. Provide roughly estimate on what are involved in the project, based on measurements of the designer's or client's sketches. Comparison or an organized collection of Data Base/s from previous projects shall be done in order to predict the cost as accurate as possible.
4. Study the architects' and engineers' plans, identify the costs (Labor, Materials, Equipment, etc.) involved, and then set an overall estimated budget for the project based on the given bid documents and data sheets. Compare the project with previous projects (see item #3).
5. Canvassing of materials and interact with the technical representative of suppliers for a clearer overview of the requirements. Review the Technical Data Sheets provided by the supplier (if necessary)
6. Preparation of Technical Data sheets.
7. Prepare the final detailed estimate complete with cost analysis, manpower schedule, construction methodology in conjunction with Operations group and construction schedule based on the client's target completion. This is the basis for the evaluation of the Engineering Manager for final selling.
8. Provides other related duties as may be required.
B. AWARDED PROJECT (Construction works)
1. Prepare to submit to the Document Controller all necessary documents for turn-over to Operations Group as follows:
1.1 Detailed Material checklist.
1.2 Technical Brochure and Data Sheets (from the suppliers) of materials based on the detailed material list.
1.3 Construction, Manpower, Equipment and Tools Schedule.
1.4 Cash flow data so the Operations Group can arrange the finances needed for each stage of the project.
1.5 Minutes of the pre-bid meetings, site instructions, notes, pricing considerations, canvass sheets and or supplier's quotations, cost analysis, raw files, tabulations, sketches and other related documents.
1.6 Provide assistance to Operations Group for any variation orders. (if necessary)
1.7 Provides other related duties as may be required.
C. AWARDED PROJECT (Design works)
1. Provide assistance to the Design Engineer on Design, Quantity Survey, Technical Documentations and other related duties as may be required.
Job Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical) Quantity Survey or equivalent.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Willing to travel and/or be assigned to different project sites (LUZON, VISAYAS, MINDANAO)
Can start immediately
Aside from basic salary, per diem, OT and staff house will be provided once on project site
