- Provides support and analysis for critical manufacturing systems to ensure efficient and continuous operation, maintain compliance and overall application health
- Monitors application stability, performance and availability, promptly resolves operations issues
- Provides user support and ensures escalation process efficiency
- Ensures application stability, performance and currency through regular and coordinated maintenance
- Ensures application and data backup and restore
- Manages data archiving
- Provides inputs for minor enhancements/work orders prioritization
- Maintains documentation for app operation
- Participates in duty service rotation to ensure 24x7 support coverage on applications and system supported
- Supports UAT, supports client resources during testing phase to assure that developed solution satisfies client requirements
- Participates on test data setup for unit, performance (load, stress) and system integration testing
- Deploys changes to production environment
- Participates on deployment activities and projects for manufacturing systems
- Supports data conversion activities
- In cooperation with application teams designs and develops particular components of manufacturing applications and factory specific tools and automation systems
Qualifications
Technical skills
- Sufficient experience of manufacturing systems implementation and operation
- Technical expertise in identifying, evaluation and developing procedural and system solutions that are cost effective and meet user requirements
- Some programming experience, data analysis skills and knowledge of database structure and query necessary to create factory specific tools
- Technical experience with manufacturing systems design, implementation and operations at least in mid-size projects
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skill to solve business and technical problems
