Description
Evaluate mechanical problems in vehicles using diagnostic equipment
Rebuild, replace, or repair major vehicle components, assemblies, and systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, etc.
Check and repair electrical and cooling systems, and install heaters and similar accessories
Do welding and perform minor body work
Estimate time and materials required to perform major repairs
Analyze engine performance and perform tune-ups as needed
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and preventive care
Maintain accurate, updated preventive maintenance records. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
Skills / Knowledge required
Advanced knowledge of diesel and gasoline engine maintenance and repair
Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs independently
Ability to operate equipment and tools involved in vehicle repair
Ability to lift heavy equipment and vehicle parts
Ability to pass required drivers safety training and physical
Acceptable driving record
Must be an experienced mechanic with ability to use tools and test equipment normally associated with this type of work
Should be able to understand written and verbal instructions
Must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot problems based on vehicle performance symptoms
Should have a basic knowledge of the techniques used in body repair and painting
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to work well with others

Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
1 year of experience
Language(s): English ,Tagalog
