JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Accounting System Management
Oversee and ensure implementation of accounting policies and procedures in accordance within the Philippine Financial Reporting Standards
Ensure maintenance of financial security by implementing internal controls.
Oversee the entire accounting operations, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of services.
Ensure adherance to Prifood's accounting policy and procedures to assure the integrity of the monthly financial statements.
B. Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Cost Control
Oversee budgeting cash flow planning and cost management aligned with the Company's strategic plan.
Analyze organizational performance VS business plan
Mitigate the risks by providing business solutions aligned with monthly analysis of cost of good sold and operating expenses against prior years and budget.
Formulate and manage working capital, cash budget, inventory, cost control and product pricing within agreed standard.
Review and reconcile financial statement VS cost variance analysis, advances, cash flow, aging AR and AP accounts.
C. Credit and Collection
Ensure credit and collection policies and procedures are aligned to Prifood requirements.
Ensure customers' credit line and bank guarantees are aligned and updated.
Approved credit application and requirements of new endorsed customers.
D. Financial Reporting and Analysis
Ensure an accurate and timely reporting of monthly financial information particularly the following:
Balance Sheet
Profit and Loss
Cash Flow Statement
Changes of Owner's Equity
Notes to Financial Statements
Ensure enforcement of accounting regulations and avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation particularly on tax matters.
Present monthly financial and operating reports to the management, including analysis on actual financial performance.
Conduct financial analysis to identify efficiency of business activities and project profitability.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Proven work experience as Senior Finance Officer
Experience in managing a high performance Finance and Accounting team in a Food and Beverage Manufacturing set-up
Knowledge on current financial and accounting principles, practices and regulations.
Strong communication and team management skills
Knowledge in organizational effectiveness and operations management
Knowledge in business and management principles and practices
Information technology skills application (SAP, Globe EXACT, Oracle, ACCPAC)
Experience in ISO certified company
Availability to travel as needed
