We are seeking for Chemists who will play a vital role in conducting in-depth analyses of various materials to support research, product development, and quality control efforts; in overseeing and optimizing electroplating processes; and in monitoring and optimizing water treatment processes to ensure all are in compliance with the regulatory standards.
 
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure that Chemical Laboratories in the plant has met the established standards of quality while overseeing all laboratories in the plant, chemical inventory and approve certificate of analysis as performed by the Chemical Technicians
Verify laboratory analysis results and investigate chemical related or laboratory related activities and create improvement plans
Drive problem solving and root cause analysis activities with concerning divisions to eliminate recurrence of chemical- and/or material property-related issues
Evaluate, analyze and approve production data and laboratory test results to determine opportunities for quality improvements
Collaborate with Chemical Technicians, Material Analysis Engineers, Material Analysis Assistants to validate viability and effectiveness of proposed process improvements
Verify and ensure that all process improvements and chemical analysis practices are implemented to all laboratories
Coordinate the improvement of all laboratories to its respective divisions
Supervise chemical inventory with Chemical Technicians and Material Analysis Assistants
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, or has at least thirty (30) units of undergraduate Chemist courses recognized by CHED or TESDA
Preferably a Licensed Chemist
With strong knowledge in Quality Control procedures, Data Analysis techniques and Laboratory Safety protocols
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to the manufacturing industry
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate and reliable results
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
