Description
Establishes the most cost-effective methods to produce product.
Conducts tests to determine the chemical composition of the raw materials.
Optimizes production processes, implements safety measures, and reduces environmental impact.
Documents laboratory activities for reference purposes.
Monitors and reports progress of analytical tests to Supervisor on a regular basis.
Works with production manager to set objectives and milestones.
Coordinates prioritize and plan lab tasks to meet deadlines.
Ensures final product meets quality and customer specifications.
Maintains sufficient stock of chemicals and supplies to perform lab experiments.
Ensures that materials are labeled properly and used in right quantities.
Investigates issues, analyzes root causes and define resolutions.
Suggests improvements for test procedures to achieve project objectives.
Develops standard procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
Executes other tasks as required.
Requirements
Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
Years of experience: 2
Language(s): English
Knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Accountability for mistakes and errors, Management, Organisation, Strategic planning, Presentations, Problem Solving, Teamwork
