Job Description
Ensures the quality and integrity of test results of samples being analyzed by performing the prescribed analytical test procedure in accordance with the Good Laboratory Practices standard.
Performs analyses for raw materials and finished products using the standard (Official Reference Compendia) and developed (Validated In-House or customer-supplied validated) laboratory test procedure.
Performs re-evaluation analysis of raw material on stock.
Performs analysis required for the validation of out-sourced and advance shipment raw material samples.
Handles instruments for analysis.
Ensures proper handling, calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Prepares reagents, standard solutions and reference standards needed for the analysis of samples.
Ensures regular replenishment of all consumables (like chemical reagents, reference standard, equipment's spare parts, laboratory supplies and other required items for analysis).
Performs cleaning verification of Production Blenders/ Mixers through pH value monitoring as basis for line clearance approval.
Develops and validates new test procedures applicable for finished product analysis as additional laboratory capability of test verification.
Conduct physical and chemical analyses of product complaints, returned/recall goods, near expiry and undelivered finished goods as a basis for the final disposition of the Quality Control Head.
Performs the stability analysis of samples submitted by R&D personnel.
Participates in the periodic Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), system certification and application and renewal Audits.
Prepares monthly accomplishment report and other related technical reports to the immediate superior.
Performs other functions that maybe assigned from time to time
Qualifications
Graduate of BS Chemistry or Chemical Technician course with valid Chemist of Chemical Techinician license.
At least with 2-3 years working experience in the same field.
Excellent knowledge of lab safety.
Knowledge of computer science and statistics is a plus.
Strong analytical, observational, and time management skills.
The ability to follow instructions and focus for extended periods.
