Description
Position: WAREHOUSE CHECKER
Job Purposes:
The Checker is responsible in checking & validating the completeness of the products picked and made ready in the staging area for loading.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Check delivery checklist and trucker's purchase order.
2. Checks volume of trucks.
3. Ensure item description, material code, quantity & expiration date are correct.
4. Ensure items for delivery are free from damages.
5. Ensure counted/checked items are also tallied with the count of the trucker.
6. Ensure that the truck is sealed once checking is complete.
7. Sign documents once counting is complete.
8. Guide new employees on their work assignment.
9. Report damaged items.
10. Report pilferage/ theft acts.
11. Plans and develops strategies to improved the process.
12. Plans and develops strategies to improve the process
13. Performs other duties and task that may be assigned from time to time that support company and team objectives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. College graduate/College level
2. Ability to work in a team environment.
3. Knows how to handle confidential information and communicate effectively
4. Can work with less and minimal supervision
5. Work in ambiguous high standards, fast paced environment
