Job Responsibilities
Receives development requests through the ticketing system.
Interprets the Business Requirement Document and works with business analyst and end users to capture requirements and translates them to technical design.
Provides assessment on the expected completion date.
Creates and modifies Oracle programs using applicable tools for both front / back end developments
Creates, modifies, tests and debugs external documents, reports and related programs, using applicable tools.
Performs tuning and optimization of report queries.
Creates appropriate tickets for code migration, account requests, and Oracle issues (My Oracle Support) as required.
Prepares migration request forms, uploads objects in Serena Dimensions, and migrates program objects to the test instances. KRA 2: Customer Commitment, responds to, and solves, technical questions and critical issues within 24 hours.
Gives customers timely updates on the status of the tickets.
Participates in conferences calls, meetings and discussions with internal customers.
Adheres to shift schedules and attendance expectations to ensure consistent support to customers and a balanced workload for peers.
Coordinates with other teams/support to complete the request of customers.
If user's request is not feasible, suggests feasible solutions related to the request.
Gives customers timely updates on the status of the tickets.
Creates solutions to customer problems. Provide sound recommendations to their queries. Provides resolution the first time. Assists customers in handling, servicing, follow-up, communication and closure of issues.
Internal Communication Definition: Effective use of communication and information sharing using the appropriate channels/medium. Provides activities that allow exchange and relay of opinions and insights necessary in the conduct of business.
Updates the ticketing system in a timely manner for easy tracking of the progress of tasks.
Shares best practices related to Oracle development to colleagues.
Writes and maintains Technical Design Documents.
Documents programming issues and resolutions for future reference.
Continuous Improvement Definition: An ongoing effort to improve products, services, or processes, and the integration of these improvements to standard processes and protocols -- can be applied in a micro (Individual improvement) or macro (organization-wide) level.
Reads and continues personal development to stay abreast of changes and new techniques within the field of Oracle application development.
Completes personal individual development plan and implements agreed training/development activities.
Performs quality checks and provides quality feedback/recommendations to peers.
Support projects related to quality improvement (such as Think Customer, QMS, etc.)
Team Support and Development Definition: Individual contribution to further team effectiveness and development towards better efficiency, productivity, support quality and quality of work life.
Actively participates in team activities and initiatives.
Fulfill other reasonable duties and projects as required.
Serves as back-up for next level similar or related function for business continuity
Provides work direction and guidance to junior employees when needed.
Continues knowledge sharing with teammates to builds team collaboration.
Coordinates and networks with other members of the team to complete assigned projects and programs.
Serves as point-of-escalation for Oracle development related queries from peers and junior members.
Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems
Job Qualification
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field 4 years equivalent experience

Adobe Output Designer
Stylus Studio Oracle Alerts, Oracle Forms Builder,
Oracle Workflow, Oracle ERP Cloud Development, a plus Oracle Application Express, Forms Personalization, Governance Risk Compliance (GRC), Oracle Application Framework (OAF), a plus
Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), plus Oracle Business Process Execution Language (BPEL), Business Understanding:
Working knowledge of Oracle E-Business Applications is a plus
Working knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud is a plus
