Job Description
Create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. Ensures projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. Focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. Work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. Acts as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor.
DUTIES & AND RESPONSIBILITIES
CHANGE MANAGEMENT GOVERNANCE :
Ensures Change Management Process compliance of all CM stakeholders :
Manage stakeholders for Business and Service Impact of planned activities (via SO Process)
Implement control and gating processes for CM
Responsible for Change Management KPIs and targets
Communicates Change Management Policies to all NTG and non-NTG counterparts including Vendors
Innovates and re-aligns processes and policies in accordance to any organizational or network changes.
Responsible for Network freeze declaration & exemption assessment
RELEASE MANAGEMENT :
Final gateway of planned major & critical change activities
Assess and mitigate service risks in view of the planned network changes for the E2E services , considering health of the network and NRP in place on worse case scenario
Performs risk assessment & mitigation. Ensures outage detection & pre-post service validation assessment
Re-classify change activity based on importance of impact (eg. Major, Catastrophic) on a per need basis
Review all implemented changes to ensure that they have met their objectives including reversing change activities if the planned change activity fails
Understand and recommend additional risk mitigations and contingency plans if necessary considering also the NRP in place
Enhance test cases to ensure both negative and positive scenarios are covered comprehensively and reasonably in CRF
Manages change scheduling review
Validate if proposed schedule by Systems Engineering and Integration has no conflict with the current state of services
Help re-calendar planned changes by coordinating with stakeholders for final approval
Provides input to Control Review Board / relevant approving body to get approval for scheduling change activities
Highlights customers experience and/or existing network conditions , incidences, problems in identifying the schedule of planned activities
Helps drive RCA for all outages and incidents reported by SCC due to Major-Critical endorsed activities
HEALTH CHECK GOVERNANCE
Ensures HC compliance of Domains and Operations to ensure that preventable outages relative to Health Check are eliminated
Ensures NRP is implementable and working
REQUIREMENTS
Work Experience
Minimum 3 years experience focusing on Change/Release Management in the telecommunication industry
Level of Knowledge
Strong understanding of end-to-end service call flow in both wireless and wireline domains
Competencies
Bachelor in engineering or telecommunications-related courses preferred
Expert in ITIL/etom or Change and Release Management processes
Vendor training and certifications preferred
