Stride is launching a new service line, Stride Vista. Stride Vista is a professional services arm that provides financial planning and analysis (FP&A) services through a combination of consulting and analytics. The difference between traditional FP&A and Stride Vista is that Stride Vista also implements and manages services designed to help improve client profitability and cash flow. With the core bookkeeping backbone provided by Stride, Stride Vista translates information into action.
We are looking for a smart, energetic, and analytical finance leader to be the initial Stride Vista consultant and ally with one of Stride's co-founders to build out the Stride Vista service offering. This position can be remote from anywhere in the U.S.
As a CFO Consultant, you will be responsible for:
Engaging prospective clients to learn about their goals and recommend services
Mapping client needs to Stride's capabilities
Documenting how Stride Vista will interact with client systems and processes
Conducting a financial review to understand the business and accounting model
Scoping and building required dashboards for Stride Vista Analytics
Implementing and executing cash flow projection models
Implementing AR collections software designed to improve the cash cycle
Developing and presenting statements of work and engagement letters
Communicating with clients (written and verbal) as a guide to improve performance
Account managing client relationships
These are the qualifications that you must possess:
At least 10 years of financial leadership experience in professional services
Strong project management and a high degree of organization
Open, coachable, and curious
Exceptional written and oral skills
Excellent computer skills and proficient in GSuite and other standard programs
Knowledge of QuickBooks Online accounting software and comfort with web based accounting and finance solutions
Superior relationship building skills and account management experience with clients ranging from $1m to $20m in revenues.
Not easily pushed over by the "loudest voice in the room"
Multi-client experience
Desire to work remote
MBA preferred
Marketing agency experience a plus
