CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data gathering and summarization of information from all departments of the company for financial reporting purposes and compliance with government (i.e. BIR and SEC)
Assistance in the month-end financial closing, financial statements preparation and analysis
Maintenance of the schedules to the financial statements such as, but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and prepayments
Communicating to management on reports that will be assigned such as, but not limited to weekly cash position, monthly statement of operations and financial position and all other financial reports as may be required by the management for its decision making
Assistance in maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures to management
Guides accounting staff on the day to day transactions
Compliance with government reports such as, but not limited to BIR and SEC
Perform audit as required or necessary.
Perform other accounting related task as assigned by the immediate head.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and is a Certificate Public Accountant
With 3-4 years working experience as an accounting staff/accountant/associate in a private company or in a firm
Exposure with Xero accounting software is an advantage
Proficient in MS Office applications and Google spreadsheets
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Possesses leadership skills
Can work under pressure and with less supervision
Organized and highly analytical
Work Location: Cebu City, Philippines
