JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Tax Admin Unit Leader is responsible of monitoring the bank wide tax compliance in accordance with the statutory accounting practices and with the National Internal Revenue Code of 1997 (Tax Code) and ensure that no penalties will be imposed for non-compliance.
Further, he/she must:
Ensure accuracy and completeness in recording tax related transactions
Ensure that all tax dues in the general ledger are reconciled with the source data
Ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness in the preparation and remittance of tax dues thru BIR eFPS in accordance with National Internal Revenue Code of 1997 to avoid penalties against the bank.
Ensure completeness of all required documents during BIR audits.
Responsible for the attendance, discipline, behavior, and development of employees under supervision including instilling of values promoted by the bank
Responsible for ensuring that premises and all facilities & equipment of the department is being maintained & properly protected at all times.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Good Communication Skills, Keen to Details, Microsoft Office Savvy
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
