Salary Rate: PHP 55,000 for entry level CPA, senior level applicant salary to be assessed based on experience. Up to 80,000k
Benefits: Upon regularization: HMO, 7 days of Service Incentive Leave, 3 days Sick Leave, Longevity Pay
Salary Increase: Annual raises based on performance appraisals.
Hybrid Work Setup: This position is open for 2 days office, 3 days work from home for qualified candidates who can meet hardware and home workspace requirements.
Operating Hours: Daytime in the US, overnight in the Philippines.
Scope of Work
 
We are looking for a detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with experience in property management accounting to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in Accounts Payable (AP) processes, financial reporting, and property accounting systems. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations while also working alongside our team to provide insights that shape an AI-powered property accounting platform.
 
If you have worked in real estate/property management accounting and enjoy both operational finance and process improvement, you will excel in this role.
 
Responsibilities
Manage and reconcile Accounts Payable transactions across multiple properties.
Review, verify, and code invoices accurately based on property and GL categories.
Monitor vendor accounts and handle payment scheduling and discrepancies.
Prepare monthly reports including expense tracking, AP aging, and property-level summaries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting workflows.
Provide accounting feedback to help train and improve a property accounting AI system.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Qualifications
 
Must Have
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
3+ years of experience in accounting or senior accounting role
Experience using Property Management Systems (PMS) such as:
AppFolio
Yardi
RealPage
Entrata
MRI
Buildium
PropertyWare
ResMan
RentManager
Strong AP, GL coding, and financial reporting skills
Excellent written and spoken English communication
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to Have (Preferred)
 
Experience working with multifamily real estate owner/operators or property management firms such as:
Flaherty & Collins
Peak Living
Emerge Living
Lincoln Property Management
Halstead Management
Experience managing accounting across multiple properties or portfolios
Familiarity with U.S. accounting practices
Work From Home Qualifications - Agents who wish to work from home in our hybrid working arrangement must meet our project requirements and be validated by management as fit to work from home. Agents must have:
Private working space with no external noise that can be heard during calls - traffic, neighborhood noise, roosters or other animals.
Minimum 100mbps high-speed internet
