Job Overview
We are looking for a cell phone technician who is responsible for diagnosing and fixing issues with various types of mobile devices. They have knowledge of different mobile operating systems, hardware, and software. They possess expertise in repairing and replacing screens, batteries, buttons, cameras, and other components. They also ensure that the device functions properly after repair and provide customer support. A cell phone repair technician should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
 
Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mobile devices, computers, laptops, and other gadgets;
Quality control and testing of repaired devices to ensure full functionality. Resolve/manage customer inquiries;
Able to interact positively with customers at the storefront and over the phone;
Ability to multi-task between repairs and customer service;
Maintain and use repair tools and equipment.
Strategically plan the order of operations to ensure a successful repair;
Provide estimates and quotes;
Microscopic Board work; component replacement Hand-solder SMT components,
Remove and replace thru-hole comp without board damage, solder wires and cables;
Repair logic board issues from water damage;
Counts inventory of Units for repair for official store records;
Maintains logs of all Fixed and Damaged Units;
Presents inventory reports during the weekly meetings.
Ensures that Units for repair is clean and well organized.
Responsible in the Quality Control and checking of sold units before the releasing.
Other related duties as required.
Qualifications
l  Excellent knowledge of customer service best practice with previous experience;
l  Ability to repair a variety of mobile devices, computers and laptops.
l  Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner, face to face, on the telephone and in writing;
l  Knowledge of mobile devices including manufacturers, operating systems, and network service providers;
l  Willing to work flexibly and with enthusiasm;
l  Good attention to detail and ability to show initiative;
l  Previous experience of working in a Repair Technician role;
l  Ability to demonstrate practical troubleshooting and problem analysis techniques;
