CCTV OPERATOR (URGENT)
 
The CCTV Operator is responsible for safeguarding the public, protect property, and ensure the security of data. He/ She will be handling responsibilities ranging from operating and monitoring banks of screens, reporting incidents as evidence, and potentially contacting the police and emergency services, if and when required.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates, maintains, and knows how to do basic troubleshooting of video surveillance equipment
Properly stores footage according to company needs
Observes keenly computer monitors for any unusual, suspicious, or questionable activities in the property
Reports incidents to appropriate authorities at the appropriate time. For serious situations, reports to the authorities' plate numbers, clothing, tattoos, or any other identifying features
Processes digital viewing requests from the authorities and issue evidence packs for evidential purposes
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's in Criminology or any related course
Must be exceedingly observant
Must be able to divide attention in order to monitor multiple occurrences taking place in one setting
Must have a thorough understanding of CCTV system and its equipment
Has the ability to work independently
Has the ability to assess and react quickly to situations as they occur
