Reporting to: Web Marketing Manager
We are looking for a CAT TOOLS SPECIALIST to train and support our internal teams with CAT (computer-assisted translation) tools (mainly Trados, but also other tools).
Train internal teams and users in Trados and other CAT tools (Phrase and Memsource, memoQ, GlobalLink, Smartling).
Support users of Trados and other CAT tools to ensure that all translators knows how to use them,
Maintain a technology watch on CAT tools,
Prepare and check linguistic files before sending them to translation teams,
Communicate with internal users, sales and ML teams with project launches.
Important Note: The CAT tools Training Specialist will be working closely with the translators to ensure that they know what to do, how to use Trados and other CAT tools, how to prepare the translation files - all of this by providing training and support. The training specialist is NOT in charge of doing translation.
Profile required:
Working experience in Training in languages and translation (training in translation processing and technologies - CAT tools, AT tools, etc.),
Excellent command of office automation tools (Office Suite) and knowledge of the main CAT tools required: Trados, Phrase and Memsource, memoQ, GlobalLink, Smartling,
Excellent communication skills as the trainings will be in English,
Experience in working with global teams (French, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Chinese).
Work set-up and working hours:
10am-7pm PHT (Monday - Friday)
