Job Description
Designing and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation
Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures
Selecting lumber by size and strength to suit each job, sourcing wood to suit the customer's budget and style.
Key responsibilities include custom furniture design, material selection, woodworking techniques blueprint interpretation, machine operation, quality control, furniture repairs, collaboration, and safety compliance.

Custom Furniture Design: Proficient in designing and creating custom furniture pieces based on client specifications and

Woodworking Techniques: Mastery of various woodworking techniques, including joinery,carving, and finishing, to produce high-quality and durable furniture
Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to interpret and work from detailed blueprints andtechnical drawings, ensuring the accurate exec
Machine Operation: Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery, such as saws, drills,lathes, and sanders, to shape and assemble furniture components
Quality Control: Implementing stringent quality control measures to ensure that finishedfurniture meets industry standards and client expectations
Repairs and Restorations: Capable of repairing and restoring existing furniture,demonstrating expertise in assessing damage, selecting appropriate repair methods, andseamlessly integrating repairs
Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively withclients, interior design
Safety Compliance: Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment and minimize the risk of accidents
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
