Job Description:
Nations Info Corp (“NIC”) Is looking for an experienced Operations Director for our growing outbound telesales operation. The Operations Director is a critical leadership role within NIC’s Call Center.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the call center, including Sales Operations, QA, Training and other functions. You will own all key performance metrics of our sales operations and will develop and execute strategies to achieve business goals.
The Operations Director must be organized, reliable, results-oriented and data-driven, having an analytical mind and practical approach to solve problems with an ability to see the “big picture” and make improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the Operations Teams of the call center :
Manage and optimize day to day sales performance
Carry out needed capacity planning with cost and benefit optimization
Work with the Sales Managers to develop talent & improve the performance of the team leads and sales agents
Establish clear sales targets and deliver results for the operation
Responsible for growth related hiring with our local recruiting team
Clearly communicate job expectations; carry out performance reviews of direct reports
Develop and promote a healthy internal work environment, consistent with NIC HQ Culture
Recognize key talent and support career development
Manage the Support Teams of the Call Center
Training - manage the training organization to develop and implement class leading agent training programs
Quality Assurance - manage the QA team to monitor and provide actionable insights on compliance and opportunities for improvement
Work with analytics, IT and tech operations teams
Collaborate with the HQ Executives, HR and Finance teams
Reporting and analytics
Budgets, projections and growth plans
Engage in Strategic Planning activities as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor / Master’s degree
10 -15 years work experience in multinational BPO sales call center management role
Strong understanding of call center technologies, including dialer (vicidial), CRM systems, remote IT services, etc.
Knowledgeable and experienced in handling all support groups of business process and functions (Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Recruitment, Information Technology, Marketing and Administration)
Experience in contracts & vendor negotiation
Strong leadership qualities, drive, project management, and attention to detail are a must
Excellent people management, ensuring employees are motivated and productive
Articulate and confidence in communication skills
Night shift work required
