Specialty Medical Guidance Program receives inbound calls in the helpline to secure Prior Authorization for Specialty Drugs both for oncology and non-oncology medical drugs that are administered under medical benefit for Oral Chemotherapy or specialty category such as Inflammatory and IVIG.
Positions in this function require various nurse licensure and certification based on role and grade level. Licensure includes RN or LPN/LVN, depending on grade level, with current unrestricted licensure in applicable state. Roles are responsible for providing telephonic clinical assessments utilizing approved medical protocols per policy, and recommending an appropriate level of clinical care based on clinical judgment and protocols.
Primary Responsibilities:
Basic, structured, standard approach to work

Required Qualifications:
BS Nursing Graduate with active PHRN license
With or without hospital experience
Good communications skills
Preferred Qualification:
Preferably with working internet connection of at least 15 mbps in case of working from home. The following options are also available:
