FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
CSR Staff dispense medical materials and supplies using standard physical procedures to in- patients ordered or based on written prescription issued by a licensed physician.
1. Responsible in complying with the hospital and department's protocols, policies and standard operating procedures.
2. Responsible in checking the manufacture and expiration dates and labels of materials and/or supplies.
3. Responsible in checking the invoices against orders to make sure all items are received and charges are correct.
4. Post delivery receipts and record issuances of drugs to ledger cards and accomplish issue report forms after every shift
5. Make certain that the right patient takes the correct materials or supplies needed.
6. Responsible in accurate and complete recording of issued supplies in the charge slip and ledger.
7. Maintain follow-up inventory weekly and monitor the stock level.
8. Prepare/check and ensure that charges slip are complete and accurate before patients are sent to cashier or billing and/or before the charge slip are sent to the Billing. Ensure that all drugs, materials and supplies are property.
9. Assist in monitoring emergency cart on every ward and other related supplies.
10. Attend and participate in staff meeting as called for by the administrator.
11. Prepare and submit reports on CSR matters to the Administrator and other department of the hospital as requested.
