Job Description
Responsibilities:
Ensure that all activities in the Production Plan are prepared and produced on-time and with the highest quality
Lead the conformance of all production activities to company and regulatory safety standards
Lead the conformance of all production activities to company quality standards
Leads the conformance of all production lines and personnel to company productivity targets, efficiency targets, set up targets.
Oversee all tooling preparation activities are done on-time in order to avoid production delays
Participate in Production Report Analysis to identify potential opportunity areas in production
Contribute to Process Improvement activities as necessary
Oversee that all company machines, tools, jigs, fixtures are used properly and appropriately.
Assist in Tool Life Analysis as necessary
Participate in Downtime Analysis in order to eliminate production stoppages and machine unreliability
Assist the transition of the production line towards Lean Manufacturing.
Lead the adherence of all production activities to company ISO 9001 standards
Job Qualifications
Qualification:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Professional License is an advantage
• At least 1-2 years' experience in Maintenance/Mechanical Design role
• Experience in a production role in a metal machining company
• Worked in an ISO 9001 certified company is preferable
• Knowledgeable in the operation of conventional lathe machines
• Knowledgeable in the operation of conventional milling machines
• Mastery in machining operations (turning, facing, threading, drilling, milling)
• Knowledgeable in Basic Metrology (English and metric, particularly Vernier Caliper and Steel Protractor)
• Knowledgeable in the operations of thread rolling machines, centerless grinders, forging presses and CNC lathes is an advantage
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite- Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
