Cadet Engineer will work under direction to complete minor projects to gain experience in investigations, design, project management, construction and maintenance, asset management, operations and other activities associated with the provisions of engineering services in an industrial environment. Ensuring the handling of processes and procedures through documentation are met and in accordance to QMS.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direction from Manager/Supervisors, perform various duties pertaining to engineering services in an industrial environment.
Under direction, undertake minor projects including technical research and collecting and compiling data.
Gain knowledge of Council's of engineering and works functions including policies and procedures, and an understanding of Council's corporate program systems relevant to the work area.
Gain knowledge of engineering standards and requirements, legislative acts governing the work area.
Perform any other duties that are reasonably within the competency, skills and training of incumbent as may be directed from time to time by the position's supervisor.
Establishes, maintains, recommends and implements a good housekeeping program for all areas of responsibility to ensure compliance to food safety standards set by 5S, GMP, ISO, HACCP, ERM & Halal.
Actively participates in company programs and provide support at all times.
Performs other related works as may be assigned by the Department Head and/or immediate superior.
Work Experience
Minimum of 6 months experience in clerical works for inventory and encoding.
Academic Background
Graduate of a degree in ECE; being a board passer is an advantage.

Able to read and understand basic measurement units, can do calculations as well.
Knows how to use basic excel, word access Microsoft applications format.
Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritize workload.
