CAD OPERATOR
 
Responsible for the design and detailed drawing of water system projects. This includes performing the programming, planning, design and review of construction projects to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Provide support to the VP Technical.
 
Responsibilities:
Performs designing and drafting of technical drawings based on the specifications from the VP Technical;
Revise drawings as needed in order to comply with the changes during the construction phase (as-built);
Researches on latest construction design and practices and makes recommendations to VP Technical;
Maintains drawing records and database;
Provides site analysis including preliminary surveys, initial zoning review and pre-feasibility studies;
Actively participates upon approval of VP Technical in conferences, workshops and trainings geared toward improving the employee's and organization's effectiveness and quality of work.
Participation includes presenting material to internal and external audiences;
Review/assist with the development of all design-related proposals and agreements;
Leads the design process, to source and select materials;
Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of CAD system, estimating, cost control, scheduling, specification writing.
Knowledge of technical, professional and business in the fields of water system design process, and construction.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and/or Drafting with at least two years related experience.
