Translate architectural and engineering designs into accurate and detailed technical drawings. Support the department of all disciplines through variety of tasks including proposal drawings and sketches.
1. Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings such as floor plans, elevations, cross-sections, and detailed construction details based on rough sketches, specifications, and design inputs provided by the engineers and superiors.
2. Review and update existing drawings as required during the project lifecycle, incorporating design changes and modifications to accurately represent the project status.
3. Work in close collaboration with engineers and other team members to ensure seamless communication and understanding of project requirements and intent.
4. Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards, building codes, and company guidelines to meet regulatory and safety requirements.
5. Maintain an organized and up-to-date inventory and database of the updated/revised plans and drawings (soft and hard copies) and related project documentation, ensuring easy access for team members and future reference.
6. Visiting project site/s to gather information, and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.
7. Conducting research.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
2. Understanding of architectural and engineering principles, scale, dimensions, and technical drawing conventions.
3. Experience as CAD Operator is an advantage.
4. Precision and accuracy.
5. Ability to work well in a team.
6. Good communication skills.
