Negotiable Permanent contract Full Time
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret Architectural/Structural drawings.
- Prepare and create detailed drawing submittal packages for review.
- Update or revise new or existing drawings.
- Draft/model structural plans and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit Structure.
- Can work independently or under the instruction/supervision of the project supervisor/engineer to complete drawings with standard and quality.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that drawings are properly referenced and coordinated between disciplines.
- Ensuring the quality of drawing deliverables.
- Plot and issue project drawings and document packages.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Graduate of Architecture, Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technician.
- Architect or equivalent working experience.
- Knows how to read mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings is an advantage.
- Good communication skills, flexible, and proactive in work.
- Industry experience of work as AutoCAD drafter/detailer in design companies (3 years minimum).
- Must have at least 3 years of relevant experience e in structural detailing.
- Experience delivering structural documentation for projects using Revit Structure (1 year minimum).
- Knowledge of construction regulations, technical standards and laws
- Working knowledge of construction techniques and related coordinating details and dimensions
- Must have experience in Civil 3D.
