C DEVELOPER
We are looking for a C developer responsible for developing applications and/or libraries for
Linux. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to an on-going development of linux
applications and apply your C skills to enhance the existing applications based on the customer
requirements.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C code
Implement performance and quality modules
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Skills
Strong proficiency in C along with programming experience using UNIX/C and Shell
scripting
Strong knowledge of the standard library as specified by ISO and ANSI and data
structures, concurrency control, objected oriented design and development
Should be a specialist in core area of C (Data structure, Pointer handling, file handling,
exception handling, Memory management, Threading, TCP/IP socket, Core Analysis,
Makefile)
Familiarity with language tools, such as Lint, Valgrind, GDB, etc.
Proficient understanding of source code management using Git
Knowledge on SQL, PL/SQL, or Embedded SQL.
Knowledge on XML and XSL
Experience with a Unit Testing Framework/Tool is nice to have but not required
Familiarity with Continuous Integration is a plus
Working experience with Linux
