Purpose of the job:
Support the deployment of commodities strategy
Ensure project execution in line with QCDT objectives
Support global supplier Panel relationship (Supplier workload, negotiation, Specific agreement)
Primary Responsibilites:
Supplier relationship:
Support global supplier panel relationship
Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances)
Monitor day to day suppliers performances and issues
Management of initial issues before escalation to line manager
Respect Alstom code of ethics and guidelines
Commodity support on site:
Support in the consolidation of commodity needs, inputs
Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
Support in providing inputs to build differentiation
Support the Commodity Manager in tender phase
Support the Commodity Manager in representing the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions.
Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
Apply the Alstom Sourcing process, and provide return on experience.
Involvement in projects:
Support Commodity Manager in coordinating project with all Metiers
Preparation and launch of Request For Quotation with suppliers using the standard tool
Support the Commodity Manager in the project negotiations
Monitor sourcing project QCDT & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development)
Ensure work package sheet commitment respect
Suppport Commodity Manager in the preparation of Business Award
Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Educational Requirements
Business School or Engineering school
Experience:
Fluent English & International background is a must.
