Reviews actual cost savings, analyzes the gaps and uses data as reference for future negotiations SUPPLIER SELECTION AND CONTRACTING (daily/as needed) . Assesses suppliers' quotations which will be the basis for the awarding of the project or contract vis-a-vis the scope of work or specifications of end-users . Selects supplier/vendor/service provider based on price, quality, capacity and STMicroelectronics, Inc. policies . Finalizes contracts for chosen vendors . Maintains dual vendor sources . Determines market share allocation . Negotiates and finalizes local Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI) agreements and consignment contracts or local warehouses PURCHASE ORDERS (daily) . Processes Purchase Orders (PO) in the SAP system once correct PR (Purchase Requisition) is released. Ensure that each transaction is in accordance with SOP 10.2.5 and Local Purchasing Procedures . Monitors open POs and closes all aging POs and assists end-users on following up urgent delivery requirements SAVINGS REPORT PREPARATION AND ANALYSIS (monthly) . Analyzes data and prepares savings report and forwards to Purchasing Manager for information and necessary action Generates recommendations to bridge gaps or realize more savings for the company Profile SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: . Must be exposed to rational decision-making situations . Must possess good oral and written communication, negotiation, and project management skills . Must have good analytical skills . Must have basic knowledge in accounting . Must have basic knowledge of the Assembly and Test Operations of semiconductor industry EDUCATION: . With a Bachelor's Degree in any Business or Engineering course EXPERIENCE: . With a minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of technical experience handling related tasks in a similar environment BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING: . Familiarity with the semiconductor industry
