Job Description:
The role holder operates as a Buyer for the Philippine location. This role ensures majorly that user experience, operational matrices, and Risk mitigation of procurement are managed effectively. This role also acts as an advisor/consultant for the business and employees for any source to pay processes and tools.
Standard Role Description
•Influence the spending of the company.
•Employee training on S2P Processes
•Define Procurement policy and include it in the Master policy based on local laws and compliance.
•Meet OTP targets of the company
•Support clusters for large deals.
•Facilitate quotes from the Local suppliers.
•Identify risk areas and mitigate the same.
•Negotiate local contracts and contract review.
•Supplier relationship management.
•Market intelligence report.
•Manage the offshore operations team.
•Implement new tools and technology from a procurement perspective.
Qualification and Required Skills:
•Should have 5 to 6 years' experience in Procurement in IT services or Product industry.
•Should have hands-on experience in contract management, Negotiations, and S2P/ERP tools like SAP, Ariba Etc.
•Should be well versed with local regulations and compliance related to procurement.
•Desirable qualification: MBA in supply chain or finance/engineering graduate.
•Excellent English language skills.
•Should be a go-getter and problem solver.
•Knowledge of the Japanese language will be an added advantage.
•Certification in supply chain management desirable.
