The Buyer 1 position is responsible for the total support of the Shared Services team in performing different tasks that will help to meet the team's objective.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position requires to perform and provide the following:
Provides total support for three Legacies with the Consulting, Professional Services and IT related commodities as back fill buyer.
Reviews, checks and creates Purchase Orders for the three legacies.
Works directly with Commodity Managers for negotiation, savings and all special instructions.
Chases suppliers and monitor the on time delivery of the orders.
Works with AP with regards to invoices and payments.
Works with receiving regarding the receipt of all orders.
Works with requestors and SMO on the supplier on boarding process and supplier access.
Supplier Onboarding - Sending out and following up on Oracle and SAP registration for new suppliers
Troubleshooting-supplier problems and follow-up
Work with suppliers with the invoice uploading process in the supplier portal.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree of any course
1-2 years of experience is a plus
Experience in Purchasing / Procurement job
PREFERRED:
Healthy and Willing to work in the night shift
Team Player and flexible
Ability to work well in a high-pace dynamic environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure task completion and deadlines are met as required
SKILLS:
Proficient in Microsoft Applications, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Has good English communication Skills in both Oral and written
