Job Description
Organize the daily production schedule staff rosters for lunch, stocktake, overtime.
Set out responsibilities for different staff to ensure co-ordination and efficiency between various sections.
Ensure proper records and data entry of stock movement, cash sales and other important data required by admin.
Train, discipline and support staff in all aspects of butchery skills, meat and smallgoods processing to achieve outstanding sales results and customer satisfaction.
Provide high quality commercial and operational advice to senior management on all aspects of operation, sales and planning.
Organize promotions and produce specialties to generate interest and attract new customers.
Improve and maintain the quality and hygiene of the butchery section - staff, equipment and procedures.
Ordering of ingredients and stock for quality at lowest price. Costing of all ingredients and end-products .
Planning operational and sales budget for weekly and monthly review. Costing of all ingredients and end-products .
To perform other duties as assigned by directors and senior management.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Business Studies/Administration/Management; Sales & Marketing or similar fields.
Degree or other qualification in food science, smallgoods production, butchery trade or related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in smallgoods production. Computer literate.
Excellent communication skills.
Focus on flexibility in resolving problems and conflicts.
Well organized and active attitude.
Additional Information:
Production of quality meats and smallgoods ( hams, sausage, longanisa, etc) that cater to the market demand and generate sales for the supermarket. Responsible for the operation of the butchery and smallgoods production, following proper management
procedures and the policies set out by the directors. Maximize total sales and profit margin by focusing on customer service, excellent presentation and affordable pricing.
