Job Description Job Summary A Business Process Associate completes all requests / transactions efficiently and accurately to meet the Service Levels set by the management with the Business Unit. Overview MBPS is officially registered as Manulife Data Services, Inc. but with an official trade name of Manulife Business Processing Services. MBPS is a Global Shared Service Centre providing Administrative Services, Professional Services, Finance, Investments, Contact Center, Claims, New Business and Underwriting, Actuarial, Legal & Compliance, and Digital Information Services to Manulife Companies around the world. MBPS is headquartered in Quezon City, Philippines. MBPS has approximately 6,000+ employees across Manila, Cebu, and Chengdu (China). Administrative Services supports Asia, Canada, US, and Global Asset Management Divisions from Mail Indexing to Disbursements back office transactions. Role and Responsibilities The role reports to Team Leader / Senior Team Leader. Contribute to the overall success of John Hancock Retirement/Manulife Responsibilities include the following: Process and analyze transactions in line with the Service Level Agreement set with the Business Unit. Attain Mastery of Business Unit Policies governing the transactions being processed. Report all system issues that may affect the operations. Such other duties and functions as assigned by Operations Management Qualifications Minimum Experience College or University graduate of any course Should pass the HR pre-employment exam and interview Should pass the Typing Exam facilitated by the HR Willing to work on rotating shifts (mid or night), during holidays and is willing to render overtime Technical Skills Computer literate - ability to use the desktop computer system Booting and shutting down computer, using mouse and keyboard (keyboarding) Knowledge of browsers and relevant computer applications Pass the Business Unit's Math Exam Attentive to details Good problem-solving skills Soft Skills Above average oral and written communication skills Team orientation Pass the Business Unit's English Exam Exhibits good navigation skills.
